Cassady's Blue Period

16x20 watercolor and ink on watercolor canvas - Collection of the artist The story behind this one, is when Cassady was a kitten, he decided to get a little paw into my oil palette, and came up with a dab of Ultramarine Blue paint. I was able to nab him before he got out of my studio, by the time we got to the sink, both he and I were covered in blue paint. Took many baths to get that out of him (at the time I had no Goop, which is amazing at getting paint out of fur!). So, for a time, Cassady's white fur had a blue sheen, I called this his "Blue Period".
